Well how about a little about my life......

This is Hubbie and I, he refuses to grow up........
As you may have noticed, I am an avid Louise
Brooks' Fan (you probably are too if you're here!) Thanks to Louise, I became interested
in silent film and am continuing to educate myself about this unique art form.
I have been married for 22 1/2 years (to the same guy, how boring, LOL). This is us on a beautiful California Summer day.
We have two wonderful sons, Scott
and John, ages 22 and almost 19. We consider ourselves very lucky!! Scott is now
attending UC Irvine and doing very well. Majoring in Philosophy
and Math. John has taken to learning a trade and is doing very well in the
ceramic tile business.
I run a medical transcription business from
home. My husband is a sales manager for a printing company and a computer nerd" like
me. He is also an avid sportsman--fishing and hunting. If you want to see
more of him and his hobby you can go to his section of my site (warning, a
little on the graphic side, not for the faint at heart) Hunting.
He is tremendously supportive of my
"passion" and designed this site for me. My boys also support my interest,
although sometimes they think I'm nuts...watching those 'ole silent movies! (They both
agree, though, that Louise was a fox!)
I also love old music--primarily 20s and 30s dance bands. I plan on eventually including more clips of my favorite music on this site. A good site for learning about some of the great bands of the 20s and 30s is "hot Jazz." To order CDs of these vintage bands check out Worldsrecords.com.
This is our Un-Offically addopted daughter, Sarah Baker. She is one of the sweetest young ladies you will ever meet (that is why my husband and I have adopted her!). She is an avid Silent Movie Fan, and has dedicated herself to the preservation of these wonderful works of art! This photo was taken Labor Day, 1999 in front of Mann's Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA. Sarah flew out from Texas to join us for Cinacon in Pasadena, CA.

Last, but not least, is our 12-year-old chihuahua, Neena.
She doesn't know she's a dog, and she allows us to live in the house with her!! She's much cuter than the Taco Bell chihuahua, don't you think?
